2023 MMM Presents Crime to Cronstuctive & Creative Commerce (CCC) Summer Project

August 5, 12, 19, & 26 A Hybrid Hack-A-Thon

It’s often been said, “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.” Criminal behavior can be attributed to this notion.  However, when some of the criminal money-making energy and activity, once creatively channeled can be transformed into profitable business practices.

An invitation will be extended to Atlanta urban youth & campus ministries for the purpose of influencing culture & making impact on the community for a recognition project in celebration of their unique talents and contributions.

The 2023 Summer Project of UGAI CIC’s MMM is dedicated to hosting a youth-focused Hack-A-Thon to develop solutions to youth involved crime that can be implemented in any community around the world utilizing:

Arts, Music, Media, Film/TV, Theater/Drama, Dance, Fashion, Social Media, Technology, & Innovation collaborative project.

This summer event will be a foundational activity to host a summer 2024 Youth Initiative.

2023’s Program dates & agenda is as follows:

  • Meeting 1 – Virtual Intro/Purpose, Creative Group Sign-Ups, Mentor & Lecture Plans (August 5)
  • Meeting 2 – In Person Group Meet-ups/Creative Discussions & Ideation @ AEISUF (August 12)
  • Meeting 3 – Virtual Group Presentations & Mentoring Sessions, Internship+ Opportunities (August 19)
  • Meeting 4 – Hack Presentation, In Person Lectures: Social Engagement, Influence, & Enterprise @AEISUF  (August 26)
