#Common-Unity School Lunch Empowerment

The Community’s hungriest and poorest kids are under siege from school lunch programs around the country. The real issue at hand is not whether or not a do-gooder could or should step up to take care of wayward debts ran up by students whose only meal may be during school hours, but to discover real solution(s) to the growing problem.

UGAI CIC seeks to not only clear school lunch debts and allow students to continue to eat without the stigma of “lunch-shaming,” but to also financially empower them and their parents altogether.

Additionally, UGAI CIC will invite families to participate in Financial Empowerment Workshop(s) to arm them with knowledge and tools in an effort to not have to borrow lunch and even further to create wealth for their futures.
